BRG Panel Session: How Can ICANN Help Prepare New Entrants for the Next Round

The BRG Panel Session attracted 75 attendees on Tuesday 15 June. Our panel included two dotBrand operators Cole Quinn (Microsoft) and Tony Kirsch (GoDaddy Registry) alongside brands considering applying for their own dotBrand when the next round is open – Rafa Gutiérrez (Uber) and Olga Yagüez (eBay).
It was extremely valuable to convey the messages of potential applicants, which centred on ICANN providing stronger commitment to opening the next round, providing information at an early stage and an indication of timeframes that they will work towards.
